CINNAMON OAT CAKE

INGREDIENTS: DIRECTIONS:
  • Cake
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 2 ¾ cups flour
  • 4 tsps baking powder
  • Topping
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups Golden Quick Cooking Oats
  • 3 tsps cinnamon
  • Pre-heat oven to 400°F
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs and vanilla
  • With a wooden spoon, beat in flour and baking powder until thoroughly blended. Set aside.
  • Mix all ingredients for the topping.
  • Pour batter mixture into 2 six-inch round pans, or one 9 x 13 pan (greased) and blend in topping to create a marble effect.
  • Bake for 40 minutes (for round pans) or 20 minutes (for rectangular pan)
