CINNAMON OAT CAKE

- Cake
- ½ cup butter
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- 2 ¾ cups flour
- 4 tsps baking powder
- Topping
- 1 cup melted butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 ¼ cups Golden Quick Cooking Oats
- 3 tsps cinnamon

- Pre-heat oven to 400°F
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla
- With a wooden spoon, beat in flour and baking powder until thoroughly blended. Set aside.
- Mix all ingredients for the topping.
- Pour batter mixture into 2 six-inch round pans, or one 9 x 13 pan (greased) and blend in topping to create a marble effect.
- Bake for 40 minutes (for round pans) or 20 minutes (for rectangular pan)
