OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE

INGREDIENTS: DIRECTIONS:
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup butter or margarine
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups Golden Instants Oats Plus Vitamin A with Iron and Lysine
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp iodized salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups raisins (optional)
  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix thoroughly vegetable oil butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. (For softer, rounded cookie, add 1/4  to 1/2 cup all-purpose flour).
  • Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart unto greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
  • Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
  • Yields around 90 cookies.
